  • Statement of Faith

Immaculate Heart of Mary Hybrid Cooperative is dedicated to the principle of excellence in Catholic homeschool instruction through our cooperative program.

While open to all students regardless of creed, we operate under the guidance of and obedience to the traditions, doctrines, and authority of the Catholic Church.

While most of our members are Catholic, we welcome all homeschool families who are respectful of Catholic teachings. Within the curriculum of our classes, we solely present ideas that are consistent with and not contrary to the teachings of the Catholic church with regards to faith and morality. We often pray together in community and we learn and discussion matters related to the Catholic faith in culture and history.

We believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord. Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended to hell. On the third day He rose again. He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.

If you are interested in a teaching position, please email Katelynne Eid (Katelynne.eid@gmail.com) and include: your resume (if relevant), the ages of any children who would attend the program or need childcare, if you are comfortable teaching catechism and what grades you would be interested in.

We are looking for teachers for all grades – Kindergarten through 8th grade, as well as nursery/preschool staff.

Teachers will work on campus 2 days per week with a set daily rate. Their responsibilities will include teaching the curriculum for all core subjects in their assigned grade as well as co-teaching 2 elective classes per semester (electives will be combined grades).

Teachers will not be required to prepare lesson plans. Lesson plans are done by the administration and will be provided to teachers and families in advance.

There will be a nursery/preschool option provided for those teaching on campus who have young children.

The main mission of our hybrid program is to create a rich, traditional Catholic community that fosters a strong foundation of our faith for our students and their families. Catechism is a core component of the education for all grades. While we encourage our staff to be practicing Catholics, it is not a requirement. We do, however, require all staff to uphold Catholic teachings while on campus.

It is not required that you be a certified teacher to apply. This position would be perfect for former or retired teachers or homeschool parents whose children attend the program.

Let’s work together

“A good school provides a rounded education for the whole person. And a good Catholic school, over and above this, should help all its students to become saints.”
